Gauntlet — for smaller birds
Gauntlet uses Canadian deerskin, 1.1–1.2 mm thick, in a 27 cm length. It is intended for smaller birds such as Kestrels, Merlins, Cooper’s Hawks and smaller male Peregrines. Colors: Black, Chocolate and Gold.
Rodeo — elk or deerskin
Rodeo Glove uses elk or deerskin leather, 1.4–1.6 mm thick. Choose Black, Chocolate or Gold. Natural leather tones can vary; contact us if you need help matching the glove to your bird and handling routine.
Line — two reinforcement finishes
- Line Suede Edition: two-layer construction using Canadian elk and American deer leather, with suede-side reinforcement. Available in Black and Chocolate.
- Line Double Full Grain Layer: two-layer deerskin construction with full-grain reinforcement. Available in Gold & Black and Full Black.
Both Line models offer 27 cm and 35 cm lengths. These lengths are separate from your hand size. The product pages describe their intended use with hawks and falcons.
RT Glove — heavy-duty game hawking
RT Glove has two layers of elk leather, 1.8 mm per layer, for a combined nominal leather thickness of 3.6 mm. It is approximately 35 cm long, with reinforcement between the fingers. Developed for demanding game hawking, including squirrel hawking, with powerful hawks and falcons.
The RT is not an eagle glove. It is currently on pre-order, expected ready from October 1, 2026. Full payment is taken at checkout. This is a readiness date; dispatch and carrier transit are additional.
Eagle Glove — dedicated eagle model
Eagle Glove combines an elk leather base, 1.5–1.8 mm thick, with full-length American bison reinforcement, 1.8 mm thick. The 2026 design includes a revised forearm pattern, solid brass hardware and the EAGLES hot-stamped mark.
Before choosing your size
Hand size and glove length are different choices. Check the options on the individual product page. If your measurement falls between the listed ranges, contact AO before ordering rather than selecting the nearest size without advice. Tell us your bird’s species, sex and weight, the model you are considering, and your hand measurement with its unit.
